Restrictions currently in effect on portions of the Las Palmas road will be temporarily lifted between noon today and August 10th at 6:00 a.m.

The decision was made by Governor of Antioquia, Luis Alfredo Ramos, and the representatives of the Aburra-Oriente Tunnel project, the purpose being to increase mobility for residents and tourists in Medellin for the Flower Festival.

The city’s favorable weather conditions and improvements already made to the hillsides, which so far seem succesful, are the two factors that contributed most to the decision.
