Colombia and Panama will work together to secure border

Colombian and Panamanian troops agreed to work together to secure an area in the Darién border region, which for years was used by the Farc guerrilla for weapons and drug trafficking and to elude authorities.

The Colombian Army and Panama’s National Border Service agreed to set up a joint military base in the inhospitable location; the base, said General Sergio Mantilla, “should lead to the elimination of a gray area that illegal groups like Farc took advantage of for criminal activity and that, due to resources and geographic difficulties, had not been secured.”

Alberteacher from BilingualGuarneStereoColombia thinks that this is a good step forward to ‘combat’ thugs and guerrillas who for decades have kidnapped, raped, robbed and killed our most vulnerable citizens…specially at Uraba. Mr. Saint government is so naive to believe that those killers are in Cuba negotiating peace talks in good faith…NOOOO….many people are wrong….all farc is doing is buying time to continue their long ‘paid’ vacations next to the worse killers our America has known…I’m talking about the Castra-os…Those who forget history are bound to repeat the same mistakes…It’s now or never…let’s get rid of those who have massacred our folks…Please…Please.
