Colombia’s Attorney General, Eduardo Montealegre, signed a warrant for the arrest of Daniel ‘el Loco’ Barrera, who was arrested in Venezuela on Tuesday.

Once Barrera sets foot on Colombian soil, authorities will bring him into custody and then it will be up to the Supreme Court to decide if it will grant the US’ request for the kingpin’s extradition. After the Court makes its decision, the President has the final word on the matter.
