With the UCI BMX World Championship in Birmingham completed, two men and one woman will represent Colombian BMX in the Summer Olympics in London, on August 8^th, 9^th and 10^th.

Just 37 points behind the Netherlands, Colombia was unable to regain the fifth slot in the UCI rankings, which would have allowed it to send more riders to London.

Mariana Pajón is thrilled with her results in Birmingham, especially after two previous accidents that almost keep her out of the competition altogether. Now the athlete says she will put all her efforts into preparing for London.
