Gaviria talks about his achievements
Mayor of Medellín, Anibal Gaviria, spoke of his Development Plan and the most significant achievements of the past four months. He’s not obsessed with poll results but said he will work hard to make up the popularity points he lost.
The main satisfaction so far, he explained, “is the fact that homicides have gone down 48 percent in the first four months of 2012 compared to the same period in 2011.” Another achievement is the continuity given to projects from the previous administration, like the Gilberto Echeverry bridge, a preschool in Santo Domingo Savio and the community escalators that will be fully operational by this weekend.
