“Berna’s” accusations met with rejection
The attorneys of some of the people involved in accusations made by extradited former paramilitary chief and drug trafficker, Diego Fernando Murillo Bejarano, alias “Berna”, spoke out in rejection and announced they are considering which course of action to take.
Among those incriminated are former presidential press secretary, Cesar Mauricio Velásquez, whose attorney Jaime Granados emphatically rejected Berna’s testimony and said it’s just another example of the “criminal revenge the country is already accustomed to.”
