BMX biker and Olympic bronze medalist, Carlos Mario Oquendo, shares his victory with those who support him the most: his parents and two brothers.

Carlos and Elide, the parents, say they’re still on cloud nine after seeing their middle son on the podium. While dad admits he’s never been one to show his emotions, he says he definitely did when his son won the bronze medal at the London Olympics.

Alexander, the oldest son, got into BMX with Carlos Mario but quit after realizing that injuries would always be part of the sport; younger brother and fellow biker, David, won gold at the Youth Olympics in 2010 but really want to focus on his brother’s achievements right now, not on his own.
